I am going to be attending the SNAP! conference this April, and I am thrilled to announce that Plutonium™ Paint will be helping to sponsor my trip. Plutonium™ is a local company that produces high-quality spray paint. If you haven’t heard of Plutonium™ before, you should take notice of them now!
Here are just five of the reasons why I am proud to affiliated with Plutonium™:
HOMEGROWN: Made in the USA. Born and raised in Detroit. I love supporting Michigan companies whenever I can, and I am thankful they are supporting me right back! Michigan pride.
VERSATILE AND DURABLE: Plutonium™ Paint is a modified automotive acrylic lacquer that has a higher pigment concentration than other spray paints. In layman’s terms that means that it is a durable paint that covers quickly and easily. Plutonium™ can be used on metal, masonry, wood, wicker, paper and some rubber and plastic surfaces. Their paints leave a gorgeous, matte finish without priming – which is hard to find in most spray paints.
IN IT FOR THE LONG HAUL: Plutonium™ Paint has a 5-year shelf life, which means you can be as indecisive as you want when it comes to your DIY projects.
TIME-SAVING: Once you have decided to paint your project, Plutonium™ Paint dries fast! A coat of Plutonium™ should be dry in 3-5 minutes!
EARTH-FRIENDLY: Plutonium™ has taken steps to be environmentally responsible in both the can design and the spray propellant. They use a 70% pigment load and 30% propellant, making it more eco-friendly than leading brands. Plutonium™ Paint cans are made from tin-free steel and coated on both sides with PET (a polyester polymer) to eliminated the need for solvent-based interior lining, thereby significantly reducing any carbon emissions. The finished cans have no welded side seams, doing away with with the need for copper or water during manufacturing.
I painted my Craft Room Desk with Plutonium™ Paint’s Vegas paint, and it has held up beautifully. The color is still as vibrant as it was when I first painted it a year and half ago, and there is no sign of wear and tear. My mom then used my leftover paint to revamp a child-sized rocking chair for my daughter. Even though that chair has gotten dragged around and banged into walls, the paint still looks fantastic.
Plutonium™ Paint comes in 40 colors that will add vibrancy to any DIY project. The saturated tones pair well together too, so you can mix and match for your project.
Pair Prince and Twig together for a subdued color scheme that is right on trend for Spring.
How about Manko and Red Alert for a spicy Valentine’s Day project?
If you see me at SNAP, stop and say hi, and I will be glad to tell you more about Plutonium™ Paint’s great products.
