I wanted to find some warm and casual clothes that my daughter could wear for playtime and my son could wear for school. I was hoping to find some items that were good for layering: hoodies, vests, or jackets especially.
Since my daughter recently turned two, she is in he iffy stage where sometimes she needs 24 month sized clothes, and other times she needs 2T. Fortunately, Cookie’s Kids site features the Alva Kids sizing app! I plugged in my daughter’s info and found she needed to be in a 2T for most the items I was looking for.
For her, I decided on this adorable Carter’s sweatsuit. We are big fans of Carter’s in The Mad House, and I thought she would look super cute in this outfit come Valentine’s Day! If you know how much Carter’s clothes usually cost, you will know that $12.99 for an outfit is a great deal! Cookie’s Kids has tons of brand names to browse through from Baby Phat to Calvin Klein.
My son is a big fan of superheroes, what little guy isn’t, but licensed merchandise can be shockingly pricey. This awesome Captain America hoodie (complete with cool mask hood) is a deal at $14.99. Plus, my son will look adorable for, um, President’s Day?
Cookie’s Kids doesn’t just carry clothes, so if you need to buy a new Northface Backpack for school or a Disney toy for play, you can get a deal! If you happen to live in the NYC area, Cookie’s Kids have 7 stores in Bronx, Brooklyn and Jamaica. The rest of us can always shop online at CookiesKids.com. You can find Cookie’s Kids on facebook and twitter as well.
The kids’ clothes arrived within the time frame promised on the website. The whole process was easy from start to finish and my kids love their new cozy clothes.
I was especially pleased with the cool facemask feature of the Captain America sweatshirt. I am going to have a hard time getting my son to change out of it now….
