This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Frito-Lay @ Dollar General for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
I have a confession, I am not a white chocolate person. For 11 months out of the year, I have no use for the uber-sweet member of the chocolate family. Give me dark chocolate with a high cacao percentage any day. Anyday other than the ones in December, that is.
Once Thanksgiving is over, my white chocolate tastebuds turn on and I can't get enough of the stuff. Mix it with peppermint, pour it over my coffee, gimmegimmegimme. The BEST though is when the sweet chocolate is paired with something salty and crunchy. Who am I kidding? The sweet and salty flavor combination is my weakness any time of year.
When my friend brought this mix to party earlier this year, I could not stop myself from grabbing more and more handfuls of the stuff. It was bad. That's why after I made up this huge batch, I promptly sealed it up and sent it to work with my husband. I have enough temptation around the house without this naughty mix sitting on the counter.
The recipe combines the crunch of popcorn and cereal, the sweet creaminess of the white chocolate, and the most important ingredient: Fritos corn chips. This is not a health-conscious snack, friends. No, ma'am. But I promise you will be asked for the recipe if you bring this to any holiday gatherings this year!
