I bought my cousin a cool travel coffee mug for Christmas this year (one of those neat ones that look like a paper coffee shop cup), but that didn't seem like a whole present. So, at the last minute today, I whipped up some Peppermint Mocha mix to go with it.
Pulverize 5 or 6 candy canes in a food processor (or crush in a ziploc bag.)

Add one cup of powdered sugar.
Add one cup of dry non-dairy creamer.
Add all the cocoa in the house. About 3/4 cup of special dark cocoa.
Run the food processor for a few minutes until it's all mixed. You can also just stir it in a large bowl, but that can get messy.
Then I just scooped it into a mason jar and decorated the lid with some Chirstmas scrapbook embellishments. I added a little note inside the coffee mug that said:
Peppermint Mocha
Mix 3-4 tablespoons of the dry mix into 8 oz. of hot water for cocoa, or into 8 oz. of coffee for peppermint mocha.
I also added some chocolate-dipped stirring spoons to decorate the wrapping. You can find my tutorial for the spoons here.
Sorry I didn't take a picture of the finished product. I really mean this was last minute!
