No before pictures. Sorry 'bout that.
I got this lamp last year at Goodwill for $2 or something else redonkulous. The lampshade that came with it was oversized and UGLY and was immediately banished to the basement. I found a tiny lampshade from my bedside lamp when I was wee and re-covered it with some fabric I dug out of the remnant bin at Walmart.
EDIT: After I posted this and re-read it, it sounds like I found the lampshade when I was wee, when in fact the lampshade itself is from when I was wee. My inner-stickler could not let that go unnoticed... and my inner 12-year-old cannot help but notice how often I have written the word "wee."
Enter hot glue and glow-in-the-dark stars, stage left.
And there you have it. A new lamp for for the little boy's room on the cheap. That moon touch light is from the dollar store, but we haven't used it yet. Got any ideas of what to use it for (other than the obvious)? Also, take a look at that banged up bedside table. He'll show up in a post pretty soon because he got one heck of a makeover today!
And then there was light.
UPDATE: I found a cute wooden space shuttle in the Dollar Spot at Target and added it to the lamp. 3-2-1... Blast off!
